Director of Community

Amy Chen is an experienced community, partnerships and programs builder in the technology and startup ecosystem. She is a strong believer in the power of connecting people, ideas, and resources to benefit startup founders, investors, and customers alike.

Prior to joining Tola, she led partnerships with venture capital firms across the U.S. for Amazon. On the AWS Startup Business Development team, she supported early-stage startups building and scaling with the cloud. Before AWS, she led incubator and accelerator programs in New York City where she built partnerships across startups, universities, enterprises and public sector stakeholders. She started her career in technology through leading civic technology initiatives at the Office of Technology and Innovation under Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s administration in New York City government.
